Why don't bands re-release live recordings or compilations?
Pearl Jam aren't the only band that keep stuff like Live on Two Legs. I was looking up Neil Young's Year of the Horse (my personal favorite live output of his) and Wilco's Kicking Television and like PJ's Two Legs & Ten Legs they were released and never again.... Is there a rights issue? Is it a cash flow issue? Just curious. With so many people that love vinyl and are willing to pony up for the albums (which none of the bands have an issue with re-releasing) why not get rid of the secondary market and give us our "cheap" fixes?

Honestly it comes down to, do they want to do something semi-interesting, like release things that have not been officially released, Vaults, or rehash stuff. L2L and Lost Dogs are probably good candidates to get a re-boot, the Newbury Orpheum kind of sprung up out of the blue last year. I would expect they might be the conduit to this moving forward.
