This is crazy.  I honestly I'm shocked that this was occurring at a GM plant in northern Ohio.  I cannot believe the company's reactions to these incidents....just crazy.

    I just saw this as well.
    I found it hard to read the article. What that supervisor and the others had to deal with is beyond disgusting. 

    Just another example of more and more Americans thinking it's okay to act like that towards another person.

    It has unfortunately never gone away. Although I agree, it has seemingly become more public since Trump has taken office.  I've noticed it myself.  People I've known for years who I've never heard say such things suddenly think it's ok to use the n-word out in the open again.

    @rgambs was mentioning this was the norm too out by where he lives.

    I am happy to say that I haven't ran across this behavior but I also don't seek it out.  I'm sure it's there in my industry just not as blatant as this article.

    If there are multiple complaints on record about what the two men have said then the "hoax" and "race card" points are absolutely moot.

    At first reading I was wondering why nothing was reported to the police but that was quickly answered in the next paragraphs so there are complaints to GM brass and to the local PD.

    Like I said before that whole place needs an overhaul.

    Sure, for people who don’t even realize that there is documentation of the complaints, GM’s response, and the investigation. 

    I just don't know what to say about seeing this sort of stuff still happening now. It’s so disheartening. I don’t know how people can be so blinded by prejudice that they don’t see that trying to make conclusions about someone’s humanity based on skin comour is as ridiculous as basing it on eye colour or hair colour or height or any other physical characteristic.
