In my opinion, that group, Staind, it remains me so much of our beloved Pearl Jam...
The guys voice, the songs and even the lyrics....It's been a while, what a great song...and if you listen carefully, the begining of the song...that guitar solo...it reminds us so much of the guitar solo at the begining of Pearl's Jam version of "dead man walking"...

I also compare the Bruce's Springsteen version of the same song, to the Pearl's Jam one...

But after listening to all of these...Pearl Jam still rules...and we want eddie for ever...

I think I heard the singer for Staind talk about both Eddie and Layne being influences on him and how one of the songs they did is gonna be called 'Layne' or something.

ya both staind and pearl jam did a song for layne

i forget who but another band played a song called layne

i really dont like staind....agree with my brother wen he said that "there kind of fake rock"...and dead girl walking....please dont ever compare pearl jam to bruce springstean...or should i say the "the boss"..i cant stand that guy
