Grease simply brought me the most joy when I was young.. although this movie came a little before I was a teen. The feeling of joy it brought just lasted. I still remember all the words to all the songs. It's the only musical I ever loved.
..... Danny was a prick though, in retrospect.
    It's in my top 5!

I might like Grease if it was an actual movie and not a god damn musical.  I can't sit through those things.

    The Breakfast Club
The Breakfast Club, without shadow of a doubt, for me had the most profound effect. I also love the film Mad Love, with Chris O'Donnell & Drew Barrymore.

Always changed the channel when that was on.  As a kid it seemed to play freqently, never was interested.  The singing and dancing?  Was not for me.
    Now, seems even sillier.

It doesn’t live up to the quintessential teen movies that are in the original list, like most other modern day teen movies. Funny as hell though.

    Dazed and Confused
Dazed and Confused...so many good quotes...or I just watched it so much that I remember too much of it and think they are all memorable quotes.

Also where I developed what is apparently a lifelong crush on Joey Lauren Adams. It's the sweetness in the voice.

That was once one of my top 3 movies of all time.  It hasn't aged well.  Banky still cracks me the hell up, though!

One of the funniest lines in any movie, period. Chasing was one of the 1st movies I saw with my wife while we were in the early stages of dating. It was a little awkward but funny as hell.
