All I heard was that awful Aerosmith song from the awful movie where they did an extreme version if this when I saw it on the news this weekend.

I think it is pretty sweet and a smart thing to do!

Anyone see the rocket launch the other day? I know a whole bunch of people near me saw it in the sky and was wondering what it was that they saw in the sky. I unfortunately wasn't even aware that it happened :disappointed:

I am definitely glad that there are scientists actively working on this issue. It's quite comforting, lol.

That is cool. ^^ Not to be a negative Nelly... but I don't get why Blue Origin doesn't send people to space for real, like SpaceX does. All BO does is let them kind of hang just above the stratosphere for a few minutes. SpaceX has sent civilians into orbit for 3 or 4 days so they could truly experience being in actual space. Blue Origin comes off a lot more like the most expensive roller coaster ride of all time... I guess the reason this doesn't do it for me is because it feels so much more capitalistic compared to SpaceX, which comes off as more focused on exploration and research for real (not that SpaceX doesn't want to make money too of course). But at the end of the day, it's still all pretty cool.

You don't really hear about space tourism in the news anymore ... could be because we have the attention span of nats these days.  I wonder if they are sending civilians up on a regular basis or if it was just a power trip fad?

I’ll be impressed when they land on the moon again! Videos of it should be crystal clear not like in the 70’s with those grainy dark images.
