I'm glad he's being put to pasture instead of slaughtered. That's nice.

  • The 7-year-old Holstein-Friesian is 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 3,086 pounds. For reference, the average Holstein-Friesian dairy cow typically stands at 4 feet 10 inches and weighs 1,500 pounds, making Kickers a rather large outlier.

I didn’t realize dairy cows were slaughtered for their meat.  Interesting. Upon further reading they are used for ground beef and roast beef.  Who knew?!

I think it's weird they call the damn thing a crisper.

"Hey, Jiankui, let's put 'er in the crisper and see what comes out!"

"Oh,  shit man, I burned another one!"

I'm not sure what happened there.  Perhaps my brain went into the crisper?

Hahaha fair enough, I let what I normally read here creep into my writing.  Let's be honest though, everyone would be even more ok with it if he was white ;)

I just clicked on the article for the first time. I had just assumed that this cow was spared because of warm-and-fuzzy feelings about his appearance; maybe he was a tourist attraction or something.

Nope. He was just too big to fit in the processing equipment.

And they say size doesn’t matter.

I wonder if that cow is aware of how much bigger he is than the others?

Just like, whenever I see a corgi I wonder if it’s envious of the dogs with the normal legs.

But then you have to wonder if Corgis know that the Queen Of England ranks them at #1...

I don't think that's much comfort when you are walking around on those little stumps.
Also, the Queen of England is wrong lol

Corgis are the worst!  I've never heard a more shrill (and frequent) bark than a Corgi.
Unfortunately, we have family members who have Corgis.  Little freaks.
