What Pj songs really touched you? Not made you get up and jump, but really connected to you, made you think and left you speechless or perhaps cry.
This was mentioned in another thread but I wanted to know what songs brought out emotions? what songs are the most beautiful to you?
For me it was deinatly Indifference. I was going through a pretty difficult time in my life and it really helped me through. No song has ever done that for me.
Another one is thumbing my way, makes me miss home.

played live this song hits hard...especially when the audience starts the song by singing the first verse. very powerful.
one of the best version i witnessed was 8/20/98 montreal, due to the tag.
ripped from a 5horizons review of that show:
"Better Man' is once again dedicated to Hillary Clinton, and features a segue into a very extended 'Save it for Later."
but in particular:
Black
Thin Air
L B Captain
...cos these are about love, loves loss or potency.
Been through it all. Theres a frustration with people
and the world in these songs. Why can't we take care of
eachother and be faithful (to eachother)?
Release touched me cos I heard it was about his longing to
have made up with his father (I will wait up in the dark, for you to speak to me....I'll open up, release me) I identify totally with that.

"The best way to change something that's around you, something you don't like, is to change yourself. And I don't think you want other people changing you, I think the only person that can change you is yourself. So if you ain't happy, if you're reading magazines about generation x-ers and thinking 'yeah, I'm one of them', well fuck that. Don't let anyone tell you who you are. No, no. No one can tell me who I am."~ Eddie Vedder (9/26/96)
