Just wanted to say I think Cropduster is rad, probably my fave PJ song at the moment. The lyrics, although at first might sound cheesy, are probably closest to what I would call my life philosophy (apart from the personal bit about Dad up in flames) after having people die and the usual realisations that life is just life, no rhyme nor reason. Its probably one of the most obvious PJ songs to decipher. The music to this song is fggn excellent, especially the intro & outro riff. At the end of the day "...The moon keep rollin round...the world"

This was my instant favorite song off of Riot Act. I have since come to love nearly all the songs on that album as much. But, this one is still one of its absolute best!

the really thing weird about cropduster for me is that it wasn't one of the first songs off riot act that moved me. after many repeated listenings to the cd i soon found myself digging cropduster more than any other song. it became the song, off the new cd, that i most wanted to hear live.

    i absolutely love that chorus!!!!

    brilliant

when i first got riot act i thought it sucked. i liked bush leaguer, save you, and love boat captain. i was like damn i wasted 7 bucks. and i didn't even like save you that much i just that one sound he made was cool (the uhhhhh thing where his voice goes up)

then i listed to it more cause i had nothing else to listen to. and it really grew on me as i listened to the lyrics more and the sound more and now its one of my fav albumns weird eh?

cropduster is great. i like it a lot but i like a lot of songs before it. bushleaguer, save, you, lbc, green disease, i am mine.

  • I love this song. It took time for Riot Act to grow on me, but I'm so glad I waited it out and listened to the cd again.

Love this song.  The lyrics are really cool, and the tune gets stuck in my head a lot.  Hope to see this one live someday...
