Light years

I've been listening to this songs a lot lately, I think it's because I can relate to a situation I am in right now. Anyone else like it, or can relate it to how they feel about someone/something?

Have you heard the original rough version? it sounds TOTALLY different but still awesome. If you can get your hands on it, I totally recommend it.

    great lyrics
So that is how I learned the lesson that everyone is alone. And your eyes must do some raining if you are ever going to grow. But when crying don't help and you can't compose yourself. It is best to compose a poem, an honest longing or simple song of hope.
    That is why I'm singing

Unfortunately, I haven't given this song much credit until just now when I read the lyrics. I can definitely relate to this. There are alot fo people that are no longer in my life that I miss and their light is still shining from light years away. It's weird how time can be a distance...

the quote in my senior yearbook was, "no matter how cold the winter, there's a springtime ahead." kinda a metaphor for high school, at least in my mind.
