I get the puzzle (each album is represented)

The album art has alot of puzzle peices in it. Parts and peices that fit together. Note: the avacado. The album is self titled meaning that this is the the best of wasn't recorded. Listen to it and if you are a fan and have everyone of there albums each album has a mark on this album. unemployable belongs to binuarl. comatose belongs to vitalogy. inside job belongs to yield. life wasted belongs to riot act. come back belongs to no code. marker in the sand VS. big wave maybe VS. world wide suicide TEN.
Gone maybe No Code. exc.....

Let me know what you think

naaaah....I mean, I can see what you are saying, there are definitely some roots displayed from their previous albums but,....Pearl Jam (as in the album) is an entirely fresh piece in itself. Eddie has not sang like this before, and I don't think I've ever just gotten this 'wholesome' of a feel from any of their other albums. When listening to it through, I can actually feel every member of the band in a more positive way than ever before. This album is very special, and I won't get into interpretations in this thread, but I see some sort of revival for PJ.
I traded magic for fact...then I traded back.
  • It's always interesting to read the thoughts of others... & to see 'how the wheels' turn so-to-speak...

Your interpretation of the new album is great... & i too, can see where you're coming from...

When i first glanced at the cover & saw 'the Avacado' ... i immediately thought of it relating to the female form... it's not quite an 'hour-glass' but anyway...

Besides... it's a nice thought... after all... where would men be.. if it weren't for women?...

    *laughs* Just kidding.... ;)
