    And..sold out.
On a positive note, props to Dan Mumford. It's gotta be rewarding to an artist to see their work create the level of demand displayed at the shows, his AP sale, and now this.
Agreed, I ordered one of his Star Wars prints from his site.  It got returned to sender so he emailed me directly saying what had happened.  I paid to have it reshipped and even joked with him that getting the print signed would be cool.  He replied and said that they were already signed and numbered.

That is absurd.  Had it in my cart before the PSST updated to show the link.  Hung up at the Review page at least 20 times, just to get either a blank page, or a site saying that this page is under maintenance, or "there has a been a problem."  An hour of fighting with a glitchy website just to have my item sold out of my cart.  Ridiculous and unacceptable.

We are being played like fiddles.
Their site just isn't meant to handle the demand, hence the crashing.
I know nothing about websites, but I'd guess they can only process a limited amount of transactions at a time, which creates a bottleneck.
If they took paypal, which can process 100s if not 1000s of transactions in minutes, it might help, but the site would need to be updated.
The truth is that it is a bit of a pain for us fans, but everything big sells.  Even if the site crashes, it doesn't cause any real problems for the bad or SLH.

I know people will be upset, but there’s just no way for them to predict that the site might crash during popular poster drops!

If a website that sells items can't handle a couple hundred visitors at a time... then there's a huge problem.

I agree with most of this, and I’m truthfully not super butt hurt when I miss out, but they frequently update the site, so they could have addressed this many times. Budgets not an issue, so I guess your last part is the obvious answer, things sell out so they don’t care that it’s a hassle for the people trying to buy. But for a band that merchandises as much as KISS, Im surprised they don’t care more about their commerce site being perfectly functional.

My order was in the 2690s, so looks like 250 to 300 available.  Maybe?
