The Proud Boys, The New Republicans?

I just learned about this group of Republicans that call themselves The Proud Boys.  Their leader Gavin Mcinnes is actually a founder of the media outlet Vice.

I'm just reading up on this group and what they do.

There was a fight this Friday night at the Republican Club here in NYC.

I heard all about this today on the Brian Lehrer show.  Mr Lehrer seems to think that all the cops here in NYC are white Nationalists themselves for not arresting anyone last night.

    Yeah, they've been following Antifa around for a while now. Two gangs itching for a fight. McInnes is one of those guys who exists solely to agitate and troll.

    The reason there were no immediate arrests is because the victims refused to cooperate. They were Antifa and wouldn't give the cops any identifying info. Once videos started to surface and police could ID these guys, they started making arrests. Up to nine last I saw.

    I’m not sure that I’ve seen our resident repubs/alt-righters repudiate this violence the way that they jump on any perceived left wing violence.

    I watched the videos of them leaving the meeting where the Samuri murder was re-enacted. Definitely itching for a fight. Also saw a bunch of 'heil Hitler'' salutes being thrown around. Seem like a lovely group of young men. 

    And the policeman pulled up as they were punching a guy on the ground and calling him a faggot. I would think that an arrest should have been made of the attacker without the guy with the foot on his throat showing ID.

    Strangely enough, that is part of their initiation process, though not the origin of their name. 

    Apparently they chose that name because they "refuse to apologize for creating the modern world". Like that group of losers had anything to do with "creation of the modern world". 

    If you had any doubt about the loser-ness of this group, this is the description of their initiation. Add looneyness to loserness.

    The Proud Boys have a four-degree initiation process for new members.[15] In the first degree, a recruit must declare "I am a Western chauvinist who refuses to apologize for creating the modern world."[16] The second degree involves five or more Proud Boys punching the recruit until he names five breakfast cereals. To earn the third degree, the recruit must get a Proud Boy tattoo.[17] The Proud Boys' website says that the fourth degree is reserved for those who have "endured a major conflict related to the cause."[18][19] The Southern Poverty Law Center has said this requires the recruit to get into a physical fight with an Antifa activist at a public rally.

    I had to go to google for that one (incels). Makes sense why they are so eager to find a fight, can't get a date - beat someone up. Again, a lovely group of young men. I'm sure the Republican Party is proud of what it has become. Self inflicted wounds.
