House is worth around $435k....serious inquires only.  Poster does not have to be mint.  House will come fully furnished with finished basement and in ground pool.  If necessary I will through in my honda pilot.

    New Jersey, ten minutes from the beach!! Property taxes are an affordable 10k a year. We have green acres literally across the street, close to 300 acres. Come on jamily!!!

    Yeah NJ is awful too. I’ve done some business out there, so I’ve seen. Take a $435K house in many of the Chicagoland suburbs and the taxes will run $11-$15K on average. It fluctuates greatly based on county and town, but they’re high everywhere. Definitely not retiring here.

    We passed on a house that had taxes at $30k.  I could afford the house but not the tax.
    One that we looked at the same price as ours was $22k, just in a different part of town.  It's fucked.
    We pay around $12k.

    NJ is way crazy.  My taxes are just over 10k.  My sister’s are 39k up in Madison.
