would footsteps sound better with violin?

I think it would flow seemlessly with all the oohhh's and stuff in the song, it would make a beautiful song.....................more..... beautfiul

    I thought it was better with just the guitar. I never liked how they added the harmonica. The solo guitar just made the song seem more personal and added to it's eeriness.

    I think a violin would make the song sound too complicated. I always liked the simplicity of the original "Footsteps."
  • I never liked footsteps so much in the first place, it seemed to be a quickly put together song. maybe a ebow will help it out.

    I Agree.

    Footsteps should remain as the original version, just the guitar and Ed's voice, nothing else is necessary.
