    I know it has been said a couple times in this thread, comparing kanye to celebrity worship in general and I kinda just feel like I need to set the record straight.

    Black celebrities, and rappers specifically, mean a different thing to the community than celebrities do to white people. 

    They speak a truth no one else sees. They y’all about a life white america doesn’t know about. It’s why it hurts more when you get crossed.
