I didn't think the suspensions were enough, for all players involved. But, Rondo needs to be suspended more games now? I think he should.

One reason i dislike the NBA is the resting of your best players.  1st week of the season and multiple players sat out for "rest" - that's bullshit.

and Rondo should have gotten minimum 10 games. he's an ass.

Hayward sat for "rest" Saturday, but its really not rest, its easing him back in after his leg was snapped in half last October. I can't imagine anyone taking issue with that.

Paul George broke his leg too and he wanted to come back pretty fast.

    I agree about Rondo.

Ingram should get 15-20 games for starting the whole thing, and coming back throwing sucker punch.

What is interesting about all this is how people constantly say that the NBA is soft and we FINALLY have some action and everyone wants their heads...

    So which is it?

    Tough NBA or new NBA?

Funny that while Kiedis is flipping the bird and spazzing out on Paul and the Rockets staff, Flea is just sitting quietly in his seat.

That's because Keidis is an absolute lunatic and whilst Flea gives off the persona of being crazy, is actually a pretty normal dude off stage.

I can't imagine how good he will be once he develops a somewhat consistent outside shot

Yeah. This is his best supporting cast yet. Pretty good team the year.

Well, seems like the Rockets are desperate to get Butler; 4 - 1st round picks. Although, that's a fairly minor loss for them at the present if they can build their dream team to make a run this year.

    It's a hopeless situation...

Four 1st round picks sounds like an outstanding deal for Minnesota until you consider they will most likely be at the tail end of the round.  Anything past pick 20 is as sure bet as somebody coming out of the D league ... G league ... R league?  But considering that trading Butler for a sack of cow shit may improve team chemistry it is a deal that the wolves should hop on.  I only assume they are still fishing the Knicks before making this trade.

Well since they can't be consecutive year picks, a couple of the later picks could end up as lottery picks.
It would have to be 2019, 2021, 2023 & 2025 first rounders. It'd be a long wait for the return but could work out, just ask Danny Ainge.

Are they protected picks though I don't remember?

Also ask the Nets how that worked out for them...

If I were the Wolves I'd not let the Rockets protect any of the picks. First one for sure will be very late in the round and likely the 2021 as well, so those are garbage. Its the possibility of 2023 & 2025 being high lottery picks that make the deal worth doing.
