TEN...doesn't sound like 1991!

My favourite ten(incredible,emotional...debut)doesn't sound like 91-know what I mean???
Well,I don't know how to explain it in Englisch,but I try...
I like this album more than the music today(except some).It's another style-a handmade true one,without all these spare special-effects.Now it might be simple-but it damn moves your heart and soul!!!Cause It's so emotional(and I like that!)-also because of Dave Krusen's expressive drumming,which gives it a mystic touch.Yeah,the whole album sounds kinda strange mystic.Maybe that's it.Don't know how to explain,but maybe you know...and let me know-your opinion...see ya..

Oh sorry-I think I forgot to write down why it doesn't sound like '91(man,that's the subject!): I mean I can't believe that Ten came out such a long time ago,and it still rocks.You can always listen to it.It's never getting old,I think.It's kinda simple-but also strong.And it was already there before all these other bands-you know-did it like them.Though Ten might be an album from middle/end of the '90s.Man,I love it!Thank you PJ!!!

    Well personally Amanda i think Ten sounds more dated than any other PJ ablum. It think the production on that album is more dated compared to Vs or vitalogy.

    it really feels like 91... thats why i don't like it
    So that is how I learned the lesson that everyone is alone. And your eyes must do some raining if you are ever going to grow. But when crying don't help and you can't compose yourself. It is best to compose a poem, an honest longing or simple song of hope.

    I agree with Amanda. Ten is one of those albums that will really stand the test of time. All of Pj's music to date will do that, in my opinion.

    They're on that level with people like the doors, zepplin, floyd, ect. Generations to come will listen to it and say "wow that's cool" only to be shocked to find it in their dad's collection.

    Forget about production and all that crap, Ten is classic and will always be my favorite because it is more raw. It was at the beginning when maybe they were not as polished or sauvy, but that makes it special.

    The band has said before there are things they might change, I think, but I probably would too if It was my stuff and I was looking back on it. I do that to my work constantly. I personally wouldn't change a thing about it.

    It is my favorite album of all time. Period.

    Wow, that kinda turned into a rant. Oh well.

    Very Good Point Amanda. I like the point you make about how Ten was there first before all the others of today. So true.
