I think this track came about due to 9/11, Vedder is really reflective on here about life and how we are really just here as part of a cycle. But enjoy it while you are here.

    I would say state of love and trust, its a song about desperation and having nothing to turn to but the barrel of the gun, Eddie did an amazing job on these lyrics and really puts you into the head of someone on the brink of suicide

    I don't know about best, but there are some real gems in Ghost. It's such a terribly underrated, underappreciated song.

    I totally agree and I think "I know you'll be a star in somebody else's sky" is the best (I know best doesn't fit in here but anyway) state of despair ever written.

    nothingman definately for me...but there are others too.

    both of these songs are AWESOME! tremor christ has a real beatles feel to it to me...it sounds very psychedelic.

    dead man is just awesome...it's low, quiet and very moody. there is a really cool performance of it on the special features of the 'Live At The Garden DVD'

    "Off He Goes" because of the Neil Young ties. It always reminds me of going home to see my little brother and jamming with him.
