They debuted it Detroit 2 03. They improved a little In My Tree a couple of shows before though.
  • Not a big fan of the 2003 version. Boom needs to stay away from it IMO. I also don't like how Ed sings "and i'm so higggggghhhh". I greatly prefer the No Code version.

"Japan is awesome; the fans there knew all the words to all the songs...at least phonetically." - Stone

"I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version." - EV

So that is how I learned the lesson that everyone is alone. And your eyes must do some raining if you are ever going to grow. But when crying don't help and you can't compose yourself. It is best to compose a poem, an honest longing or simple song of hope.
    That is why I'm singing

I thought that too when I heard my first taste of it but then when I heard it live at MSG I almost passed out. Now its one of my favorite songs to hear live I think its SUCH a huge improvement.

  • I prefer the new live version - I think it sounds a little too uncomprehendable on 'No Code' I was also blown away by it at MSG. I particularly liked Eddie's guitar intro.
Don't give blood, and take it back again.
  • They should bring back the slow version of Corduroy they played a few years back.
