Just curious what makes 2018 Prague and Berlin so coveted. The actual art? The concert performance? The particular artist?
In a similar vein, I'm surprised that the Seattle EMEK is still available. EMEK is a poster god around these parts. I have my favorite framing shop and the owner, Greg, tells me that EMEK gets all his personal stuff framed by him. Karma will get you!!!!! This is such crap. We can't resell tickets above face but scumbag 10c members can resell a $35 poster for hundreds within minutes. There is an easy solution to cure this....... presell posters!!!!!! At least the artist can make more money instead of the blood sucking scumbags
$20 a year is a small price to pay for access to great seats and all this limited merch with a crazed fanbase
im sure some hold memberships who couldn't name a record after Vitalogy if that....its a hustle for these assholesHeck, if you listen to half the people that post on this forum, you'd think Yield was the last album they made. "Everything after that sucks!"

I can't speak for everyone else, but this was the only European show I was at (traveled from Philly) and I like to collect (and display) posters for all my out-of-town shows. I missed out on getting this at the show and pretty much stalked the 10C shop daily for the past 3 weeks. I haven't seen it live in person yet - it was completely sold out at the venue by the time I got there and I spent an unusually long amount of time in the beer line at the O2 to go searching other merch tables - but I am still thankful I was able to order one.
Thanks to Santos for the hard work and patience it takes in making these available.0 -

We can't have high demand limited edition posters where everyone gets each one that they want. I've actually seen people here say that.... that they want limited edition items that everyone has access too. It just doesn't work that way!
Having said that my blood still boils when I see the Copenhagen spawn poster for hundreds..."Bring it back, to the clean form. To the pure form"

Having said that my blood still boils when I see the Copenhagen spawn poster for hundreds...Imagine if their music was also sold in limited editions and it was a "high demand" item that you would pay "insane prices" for since it would be "limited and special". Wouldn't it suck if you couldn't listen to an album if you didn't pay hundreds of $ to get it? Yes, it would. For me, the thing with the so-limited edition posters that creates a secondary market where posters are sold in prices multiple times higher than their original one, is stupid, unfair and in the end makes them lose money. Give the people what they want there guys. I know there were issues after the posters were released in 2008 but really, if 10c members were given opportunity to pre order posters ahead of the shows then that resolves the whole souviner thing - as I've said before, I like to try and get a poster for every show I go to... Even Amsterdam 1 in 2012 I eventually wanted to make my collection complete... As long as at pre order stage people recognise that the poster might have an animal with 44 eyes or 23 skulls involved in the design...!!!
I needed up paying $100 for one - even though I didn't really like the art - haha!
Now it's been back on sale here this Summer and now further reduced in price to $24.95...
Was it sold out for 6 Years and then a new batch printed? Sometimes, with product being cash on the books, people have to inflate the demand a little bit and that's fair enough.0 -

If the initial price is $35 but demand is so high that posters are resold for hundreds on EBay, that tells me they could both print more and charge more for the posters. As it is, money that should be going to the artists is flowing into the pockets of resellers. Efforts are made to stop people from doing that with tickets; the same could be done with posters.

on the back of the new posters they have a hologram sticker that says "no to flippers/flipping)
imo that does a lot to stop the flipping. nice work there.0 -
