This will be my last year in the degenerate football pool - I've enjoyed football with all of you guys for the last 5 years but I will not be renewing my membership. I no longer find it to be a place of fun and it is affecting my health.

So here's to the last two weeks of the season.

My mental health. I have PTSD and have shit going on and so I'm triggered by stuff I can't predict. Doesn't matter if it's on here or somewhere else - I just can't predict what's going to set off my anxiety/depression. You don't need to understand PTSD - I just can't handle the back and forth of internet communication when I'm in a sensitive state.

I should not have made a declaration of leaving - I actually hate when people do that. I have a post on FB - This is not an airport, your departure need not be announced. I went against my own rule. (But I can block people on other sites - not so on here so I need to just remove myself until I'm in a better place).

You guys are my original crew (to quote another band) and I love ya bunch of stinkin gamblers and late payers. I will probably drop to digital when I renew in April - we'll see what 10club comes up with now that Analog really doesn't exist. But I'll be here for Season 10 -- I feel safe in this thread.

And thanks to all of you guys who have made football fun for me! Now please don't mess up my dreams of winning (I know you're laughing at me....but at least I'm not in last place this year}

If we stick to the way we’ve been doing it:

Most wins, wins pot

For tiebreaking purposes, pick the total points scored for the last game played each weekend

i post point spreads here each friday

i pm a different random person here my picks each week, shortly after I post spreads for transparency

pm me your picks with point total for tiebreaker at least 30 minutes before the first kickoff of each weekend

Not to be a sore winner here, but it’s ridiculous that some people still haven’t paid. I’d be saying the same thing even if I hadn’t won. Next year I vote that you’re not in the pool until you’ve paid up. Shouldn’t be the winners responsibility to chase down people for money.
