Is Donald Trump in the GA Pit?
I’m liberal. I loath Trump. I’m a concert goer of 30 years, of countless bands. And I’m finding irony within the 10 Club ranks.
Firstly, I’m going to say something that’s both obvious, and going to tick some of you off.
“General Admission” means you don’t have a guaranteed spot. It means you have the right to be in that section and nothing else., You don’t “own” a space. There’s reserved seating for that line of thought.
I get it. You waited in line. You were here first. You are the bigger fan therefore you have the right. Never mind that you left your GA spot to take a piss and grab a beer. And that other fans with the same GA ticket might like to spend a portion of the show with a good view. You apparently have some magical golden ticket that guarantees you a first class all-access pass for the rest of the night? Donald Trump and his Republican buddies would love that mentality.
PJ fans who put up elbows, give dirty looks, and band together to bully and keep late arrivals (with the same wristband as you) out remind me of redneck Trumpers who want to “build the wall” , “you don’t belong here” , “let’s make their life miserable because you are taking what’s mine”.
All I’m saying is that if you leave your spot, all bets are off. PJ got rid of seniority in front rows in favor of GA to give everyone a chance. Johnny leaves to take a leak. Suzie gets to move up a space. Life goes on. It’s not a country club up there with your name stenciled on the napkin. Stop sounding like Donald Trump and let everyone enjoy and have a right to exist in the area.
GA = the USA. We all have rights to be there with the proper credentials. And none of us have the right to tell a citizen of GA or the USA that they aren’t welcome.
“I was here first, you need to leave” seems to be at odds with what your favorite band believes in.

but I thought that GA was in the USA?
But the larger point is that it’s ridiculous for people to literally choose NOT to get reserved seats....and bitch when someone pushes past them in GA.

Including the person returning to their perceived rightful location.
Put the shoe on the other foot. If I’m in the middle of the pack, I’m supposed to be ok with other people pushing by me saying “it’s ok, I’m just shoving past you because I waited all day. I just had to grab a beer”.

2. No “seat backs” in GENERAL ADMISSION
Pretty simple, don’t be an entitled dick either way...unfortunately people seem to struggle with this at PJ and elsewhere...
