Will be a different vibe this year than 2016 based on daylight alone....wonder if they want to come out even earlier as the sun goes down with their ‘slow’ starts lately

Hard to overstate the shit show that is the lines. Hour long lines if you don’t cut. Many trying to but a lot of good self policing.

You can use any gate.  The dude in front of me used a paper TM ticket and I used my 10c ticket on the same machine and both worked

For RS games you can enter at any gate, regardless of what your ticket says or if its paper or mobile.....dont see why this would be any different

You can enter any gate. I did not go in gate D. Literally took 2 minutes. Sorry a bunch of folks had to deal with this.

  • I keep seeing people asking about the Fenway shows start time and/or have no idea about the very strict early curfew they have. So let me help you out here:

    - Fenway has a STRICT 10:30 curfew.
This doesn’t mean bands don’t suck up the fines and go past it. But it’s a residential neighborhood and I’m guessing that pissing off the city officials isn’t in their best interest.

Doors are at 5:00 and the band is scheduled to go on at 6:30.
Will they go on later than that? Probably. But I doubt by much this time around. Last time they had to wait as people didn’t bother to read the times on their tickets, assumed it would be a ‘normal’ show time, and kept hanging around at the bars. The longer the majority of you take to get in your seats the longer they wait. Do you really want a shorter show because you wanted to drink a couple more $12 PBA’s at Cask’n Flagon?

    - It takes a lot longer to park, get inside and get to your seats than you think.
Ever play Frogger? Yeah, it’s like that but with 30+k half drunk assholes meandering around. Don’t worry, it gets even better post-show.

    - It’s Move In weekend for all the city colleges.
If you’re not from the area then you have no idea of the level of fun we have planned for you. Street closings, parents dropping off their precious-wescious poopsies that are leaving home for the first time, and those same little pumpkins trying to navigate and park moving vans throughout the city.
    10x the traffic? Check.
Double parked vans and cars everywhere? Check.
At least one idiot Storrowing? Probably.
(It’s a thing, look it up.)

Do the rest of us a favor. Plan ahead, take public transport or use ride services if you can, and get to your seats EARLY. I’d at least like the possibility of a couple 3+ hour shows, I’m sure most others would too.

Waaay later than planned and even later than either night ‘16. Was rather disappointed at the start time given all the hype from Fenway.

Though Ed was pretty lit, me thinks he lost track of time in a haze of green smoke. Made for a hell of a show though. The band was on fire and laughing at Ed’s antics throughout. Felt like a long show between great songs and Ed’s dancing.

Ah well, I’m still showing up early on Tuesday. That’ll be the setlist and show length for the hardcore fans.

Yeah. I dont understand this. I was in my seat by 545 and then just waited forever. Pretty unprofessional of the band to not go on until almost 8pm.

And agree that Ed was a bit under the influence of something.

17 songs from N1 Fenway 2016 were played N1 Fenway 2018.  I thought the setlist sounded familiar.  Had fun, great time, hope they go on earlier on Tuesday.

It sucks that the show started so late, but the blame sits with those who arrive late.  It is too risky to start the show when there is still a line of people waiting to get into the venue.  Imagine the rush of people towards the gates when they hear the show starting.
