Berlin/Prague Suggestions

FifthelementFifthelement Lotusland Posts: 6,963
so we’re spending ten days in Berlin and Prague at the end of September into October.  We’ve never been.  Where should we stay?  We will be relying on public transport so we don’t want to spend a lot of time travelling each day.   Suggestions on what not to miss would be greatly appreciated as well.  Thanks :)

Bring comfortable walking shoes, I thought Prague was beautiful and lovely to walk around in, from the castle it was a great view :) Food and beer is quite cheap also. I hope someone else can contribute with some better advices.....:)
    I hope you'll have a great trip !!!

As for Berlin, I always stay in Mitte. Walking distance to many must see sights. Plus a cool area with lots of restaurants/bars.
