Kids falling to sleep to PJ

My 8 month old usually goes to sleep on her own, but when she is really cranky we discovered she likes to be rocked to Man of the Hour. She can be red-lining her scream volume and in the first note she goes totally silent. I have tried other songs and most don't work at all, I don't know if it is the simplicity pace or what. Bee Girl works a little, but all the other slow, acoustical stuff doesn't: weird.
I mean I dare you to sing "Black" and not feel it.
I dare you.
I've tried to phone in "Jeremy" a few times, and it's tough.
It doesn't work.
