    RIP and condolences to his family and friends. I never met him but sounds like a great guy. Glad he won and enjoyed that suite.

    I think so, yes.  When I friended him on Facebook awhile back I told him my username.  I don’t remember what his name on here was though..

    Ah ok.  Very sad.  The community is so huge that you realize a tiny % post here.  Or some did in the synergy days but moved elsewhere.  RIP.  
    yeah he only had like 100 posts.   that's like the third or fourth PJ fan that has died this year :sad:

    I never actually met him but we both posted on the Jesus and Mary Chain thread.  We both went to the show and I looked for him but didn't see him there.  Later he sent me a pm through here and asked if i was on facebook.  I think he lived in Maryland and was like 46 y.o.

    I wanted to thank everyone for the kind messages and condolences.  This community is a special place and the people that are part of the Pearl Jam Family are some of the kindest and most compassionate people I have ever met.  Unless you are part of this group, you probably wouldn’t understand the kindered spirit we all feel as fans.  Allen and I shared this and I thought it was important that I shared some things about him with you. Below is a post from his girlfriend about what happened to Allen and I wanted to share:

    “The sweetest, kindest, most loving and generous man to ever walk the face of this planet left us yesterday at 12:12. Bee sting. Anaphylactic shock. Severe brain damage. Sadness.  I’m reading from his page what you, some I know, some I do not, have all posted and the donations that are happening. I am filled with love for all of you kind people. Thank you.”

    I’ll be at Boston 2 on Tuesday with a heavy heart but I know Allen will be right there with me - with all of us - rocking out!

    My condolences...So glad that he had some great experiences before he left.  Hate to see such a random incident like a bee sting end someone's life.

    Never met Allen, didn't know him but knowig he was a PJ fan and understood what "its" about, I'll be thinking of him and those closest to him on Tuesday. Peace.
