  • my guess would be that the vibe isn't with them anymore. "Drop the Leash, we are young"...they're damn near 40.

However, i'm very optimistic that they'll but it out next tour...just for a little treat for us fans :)
"I'll do whatever the song dictates - if it doesn't need a real lead, then I won't do one. But if it does, then I'll fuckin' go off." - Mike

"Japan is awesome; the fans there knew all the words to all the songs...at least phonetically." - Stone

"I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version." - EV
  • it really doesnt fit them anymore. but i can still see them throwing it in at some point. i mean lukin on the unplugged beyonara cd. nuff said.
And after all this, won't you give me a smile?

I've been wondering that for ages!!!!!

Such a good song, I don't think its because it doesn't fit them - Eddie could easily change the lyrics - he does it plenty of other times. I hope they play it on the next tour and when they come back to GB!!!
Don't give blood, and take it back again.
  • first thing comes to my mind when i hear leash, is in the lyrics,,in eddie's handwriting are these words.....
.....unfucking believable to think i came from you.....
...It's only after disaster that we can be resurrected...
it's only after you've lost everything ...that you are free to do anything....(Fight Club)

... I'll ride the wave...where it takes me....
