I'm not sure that writing "Not For Resale" has any meaning at all. Once you purchase it, the seller doesn't really have any right to tell you what you can or can't do with it after you own it.

I agree with you 100%, once they have said item. But, until the item is in their hands, it's really not theirs yet. There has been orders cancelled for selling items before they even ship.
‘Not for resale’ likely doesn’t have any legally binding meaning, but it does mean that a 10c member who has clearly not followed the instruction should not be surprised if their purchase and/or other privileges are revoked. Why put it in the ad if not?
Buyers willing to pay a higher price I agree are part of the issue. As is greed and money/object worship. Assuming that there is an issue of course. It’s just my opinion that life would be better if this didn’t happen.
