The ones who ask for tolerance are usually the ones who are the most intolerant. In this case Eddie and crew prove that is correct. Been a fan for 26 years, been to dozens of shows, they have alienated me and many others with this crap. We all have a voice, but we all don't need to jam it down each others throat. PJ has used their power of their $$$ to do that in this case. I've lost a lot of respect for PJ
You literally just spent $20 or $40 to write that?  Sounds legit to me.

The poster is a commentary. You might be confusing criticism with a lack of tolerance.

This band sure loves freedom of speech, but a thread just got shut down on here for making fun of Mike’s stage presence.

That’s the hypocrisy that gets me.
"I'll tell you what: If all I had was Pearl Jam, and I didn't have another band in the world, I would not be worried. Because in there is the essence of making great music. You don't have to use it all at once, but it's there." - Neil Young

That’s not hypocrisy, you’re just confused on what the first amendment protects. There are no freedoms without limitations.

That thread getting shut down is the same thing as if you walk into your boss’ office, call him or her an asshole, and get suspended or fired.

Nah, that date reflects when they signed up to this forum, not when they became members.

I think it's pretty hilarious that people would suddenly feel alienated by this, or think it reflects intolerance... Some people just don't get the poster I guess. Or political art in general. Or Pearl Jam.

I'm not sure where the hypocrisy is.... They make a political poster that is very predictably anti-Trump .... They close a thread that is bashing Mike on their own forum. Can you please point out the hypocrisy?
