How does your +1 ticket work?

Do I transfer the ticket to my wife or just keep both tickets on my phone? Any info on how you go about this. Thanks

    For Seattle & Missoula, I 'kept' both tickets and added them to my Apple Wallet, and then signed into my account on my wife's phone as a backup, and added them both there too.  

    When we got to the gates I used the 'not transferable' and she used the 'transferable' 
    Well we've been a good few hours drinking
    So I'm going to say what everyone's thinking
    If we're stuck on this ship and it's sinking
    Then we might as well have a parade

    I'm going to keep the tickets on my phone for Wrigley. Just seems easier that way.

    I kept both on my phone at the Seattle shows. Only showed them at the gate and was never asked again.
