A request for a kickass RITFW Saturday at Wrigley!
Rockin' in the Free World will take on a special meaning for me and my brother in law as we head down to Wrigley again from Milwaukee this weekend. In April, we lost an amazing guy - my father in-law, Ron to a rapid battle with acute myleoid leukemia. Amongst the host of amazing things he shared with me over the 20+ years I knew him was a great love for music. He loved the Who and we had an amazing time I will cherish forever seeing Pete (his musical hero) and Eddie (mine) jam together at the Rosemont a couple years back. He loved Neil too and over the past few years took to saying goodbye to anybody he was talking to with the line "Keep on Rockin in the Free world". His spirit , energy and love for people was contagious and that line seemed to be his way of telling you just keep going and enjoy life no matter the circumstance.
