as a Chris Cornell tribute, a lot of Pearl Jam fans at the show are also Soundgarden fans, it would be a special moment of closure for many of us

    Isn't carrying on the music enough tribute? You shouldn't put the responsibility on them to provide you closure. That's a big ask, and pretty unfair as far as a reason BBH.

    that's your perspective, but that doesn't mean it's the right one either (even if every single person gangs up on me in here and agrees with you) but whatever, if he doesn't feel like doing it, he won't do it, nobody is making him do anything, he'll do whatever he wants, so there is nothing unfair about it.
