GA ticks for Seattle, different sections?

so I won and got two GA tick but one is in section 1 and the other 5. That never happened to me with TC ticks before. Im really bummed because Im bringing a friend for his first show and wont be able to share the moment with him. Is that normal?

    GA is all one pit. The sections mean nothing. You will be with your friend. 

    Not sure if there should be a name as your thread title. I would probably change that.

    I think they put sections and sometimes even rows on GA tickets to keep count of how many tickets to make available.
