    Here is my poster for the Pearl Jam home shows in Seattle

    So are there two here?
    Bottom one is the variant. If like the 2016 baseball stadium shows, they let the artist do 300 reg AP's, and a variant run of 100 AP's. See if the numbers stay or change for the 2018 shows.
  • I like all of the Merch. Fight me.

    The Smashed guitar poster is cool but the rest are god awful.
    hahahaha, hahahahahahaha, hahahahahahaha, LOL!  This is poster art MF!!!!  "god awful" that is a little overdramatic!  drama queen!

    For me:

    01 = @failart [rad, super cool]
    02 = #BradKlausen [really cool]
    03 = @emek_studios [cool]
    04 = @amesbros [meh]
    05 = @kshuss11 [don't really care for this one]

    Klausen and Faile are awesome, Emek is OK, and I won’t say anything else cause of how I was raised.

    By the way, these posters are Exhibit A in the argument against a blind poster purchase option with a 10C ticket.

    Anyone else think the comparisons to Kiss’s Merch crassness are lazy and off the mark?
    Yes. When they start releasing caskets and toilet seats then we talk.
    I agree, but they do seem to be starting to head that route.
    Other than coasters, I'm not seeing anything new than what they have done before.
    Is it just because there is more designs of posters and shirts?

    The merch craze would only be bigger than the show if you let it be.

    Exactly, it would turn into the same deal as mystery box trading

    There's a large group that want the poster of the show they attend regardless of what it looks like.  The preorder system wouldn't be for art-critics or poster-snobs.

    Not for people that just want one for the shows they go to it’s not.  No Different  than a mystery box and it’s cheaper

    Anyone think the Klausen might be used for Wrigley & Fenway? Just needs a color and the stub info changed

    Part of me thinks all five may be recycled (in different colors) in all four cities.

    In what ways is it Kiss like? outside of Coasters, this is the same merch they've been doing for 5 years

    I don't even think PJ is at the level of merch that the Stones, Beatles or Floyd are at. But you make one dog collar and print 14 different shirts for some stadium shows and you get labeled as a schlock band crass merchandiser.

    Lots of $$$ to be made, but also factor in the contributions they are raising (and partnerships also raising) for the Home Shows. I would be fine if they continued to oversell merch if proceeds are going to local charities. If people are buying and helping a cause, everyone wins.
