What are the odds extra tickets will be released prior to home shows?

I have tickets for Wednesday but am looking to get a pair for the Friday as we have extended our trip. I have been monitoring the message boards and craigslist for tickets, but with the new ticketing system and what happened for a few of the European dates what would be the odds of tickets being released. Does a guy wait until Thursday to grab tickets? Have there been scalpers outside the European shows?
