ahhhh!!!

I love this song... it's folksy and ahh i don't even know how to describe it!!

The other night it lulled me to sleep... it's got that essence... and Ed's voice could lull ANYONE to sleep... so pretty... i'm not sure if he'd appreciate that word or not, but hey!

And I love how he laughs in the middle and how he softly says "thank you" at the end!! ahh!! is that not perfect!!??

Even the sound of the page turn makes it more personal.. almost like Ed's right there with you... singing to you...

    I'm making my way through "Lost Dogs" very slowly...haven't gotten to Bee Girl yet, but I'll remember what you said! So far this album is amazing. It's so varied in it's style, sometimes bluesy, or folksy or surfin', or rock...that's why I'm savoring it & taking my time!

    ahhh! that's so coo, pjsal! when i first got it i listened to the first few seconds of each song, then went back and listened to the whole thing... i was SO impatient, i just needed a quick taste of it ALL... but Bee Girl was one of the first ones I listened to just 'cause I liked the sound so much...

    but when you get to it, i'm sure you'll love it. i don't doubt that :)

    of_the_girl, I am just mesmerized by this album! It's like every second of a favorite song stretches out & I'm totally immersed by it... and then I have to listen to it again! It took me 3 days just to listen completely to disc 1...
    and the DVD: give me a week to pop that in!

    ahhh pjsal, let me just say you are hella cool... you take it in slowly and just savour every little detail... now that's appreciation!! you go, girl!! :D i bet you're one of those people who open their presents really really slowly at christmas (if you celebrate) whereas I rip it open without even thinkin' (or ask my sister what my mom got me like a month before christmas) ehehehehehe :) *cheers to patience and appreciation*

    It's a pretty easy song to play, too. I like to play it, and then make up my own words... it's fun...

    I've been listening to LD a lot, but I've only heard Bee Girl once. It didn't do anything for me, but based on of_the_girl's enthusiastic comments I'm going to go back and listen to it more carefully. The album is amazing--so many new favorite songs which I keep listening to over and over again that I never seem to get to Bee Girl at the end.

    that is so cool how they came up w/that song..on the spot on Rockline. So cool!!

    I agree Jess, this song puts me to sleep as well, in a good way though. Eddie singing to you as you drift away to dream land. Very cute song about the Bee Girl from the blind melon cover:)
