Public Transport to Palau Sant Jordi?

How are you Barcelona peeps getting to the venue?  It’s my first time in Barcelona.  I keep getting conflicting info when searching online. Is there a metro that takes you close enough to the venue to walk there?  Or do I have to cab it the whole way?  Any info would be greatly appreciated.
