It didn't take long for me. I remember the first listen of Binaural. It sucked me right the F in. Before the lyrics started.
This intro?! HOOKS YOU AND DRAWS YOU IN! Starts off gently sexing you up then just let's it loose. Whoooooa. The song just plows into some souls and forces some hips to move! Again, how can ONE song feel SO DAMN GOOD?!!? It's ok to get THIS much pleasure from a song yes?
I love "Of the Girl." I thought it was nifty that towards the end they had the "cuckoo clock" sound with the guitars, I thought it really gave the song some character. Yeah, the version of Benaroya Hall was neat!
I love Boston 3 version, especially when someone in the crowd gives a "Wooooo Hooooo" in this pitch that fits the song perfectly. Makes me smile everytime
Benaroya rocks too and some cowboy gives a woohoo in this version too, which is pretty cool .... but not as good as the Boston woohoo IMHO.

I'm listening to the memphis '00 boot, this song is superb..an ideal opener. this song creates a mood, that is so calming, yet is creating so much energy within you at the same time, the rhythms, the almost haunting, yet surreal feeling you get while listening to the instruments come together in such a beauty, that can only be done by Pearl Jam. The lyrics also add on to create that mood..that energy..where you feel yourself willingly being sucked in, being held hostage by the energy, the music, the tone, just swirling around you..it is so amazing..almost undescribable. PJ never fails to impress, i swear it.
