The O2 shows will be my 16th and 17th shows. London will be the 10th city I will be seeing the band in, on 4 continents since 2006. Combined rough amount of kilometres travelled from South Africa to these shows and back could be in excess of 100 000 kilometres in total! I am sure there are many other fans who will exceed this by far. 

My last show was in Charlottesville in 2013. I put in a request for Thumbing my Way, my favourite PJ song, and they played it. I was ecstatic. 

This time round I am just grateful that I can make 2 shows on this tour. I am just grateful that I will be seeing my favourite band again. Just glad that I can still travel in my 50s to see this incredible band perform, be a part of this community- and grateful for all the friends I have made over the years through the music. 

Thank you Pearl Jam, thank you Ten Club, thank you Pearl Jam community! 

Looking forward to to the next two nights at the O2...
