What’s on my mind

i sat down to write today and I realized that the current events on the southern border are disturbing my peace of mind. It’s difficult not to think about how upset I am about Trump’s latest violence. They are taking Mexican children away from their families and putting them into institional facilities. Little brown children are being traumatized because our president is a disgusting racist. This inhumane activity is happening in America and I am overwhelmed by this.  Everyday there Is some new horror surfacing.  I knew he’d be an incompetent and unqualified leader but I had no idea he’d be cruel as well.  

Id much rather be thinking about love and flowers and music but the news is making me angry!
