  • Night 2 was the better of the shows for me. The crowd seemed much more energetic. We commented after the first show that it seemed quite calm. It was my first PJ show outside of the UK, so assumed this was just European crowds, being quiet. Night 2 disproved this.

It was as if Eddie could read my mind as there were songs i was saying i wanted to hear on Night 2 that made an appearance.

I had only been discussing Bee Girl earlier that day, so it was amazing to hear live for the first time.

When i see a band i try and time my toilet breaks with a song that i do not care too much for. On night 2 i just had to hold it in as it did not let up from song one! The best piss ever after the show though, ha ha.

You Cant Deny Me sounds amazing live. An Eddie drumstick would have been a great souvenir for somebody. Its definitely about Trump, You cant deny that :)

The set length is perfect for me. My best PJ show is still Leeds, which was well past the 3+ hour mark, but i don't mind missing a couple of cover versions if it means i get a set as strong as these. All killer, no filler.

The tour ends here for me, but i wish i could go to every one. Enjoy guys!!!!

I had better seats for night 1 (thanks to 10C), but night 2 was still the better show - my 20th! The setlist was mostly great - although I am so over Even Flow, and they played it both nights. Ugh. I know it’s a crowd pleaser, but I wish they’d give it a rest. I enjoyed hearing 1/2 Full for the first time live. And I didn’t mind the shortened shows. I actually liked getting back to my hotel before midnight. I agree with everyone else that Can’t Deny Me sounds awesome. That’s one I would have been happy with on both nights. All in all, though, two great nights, as they always are. Wish I could stick around for a few more shows. I love Europe. But it’s back to my stupid adult responsibilities in the US. Bye bye Europe. See y’all at Fenway in a few months.

I would listen to Even Flow every show because it means I’m there seeing the band. Enjoy the experience, it won’t last long.

  • Great show and they sounded excellent. I was a little worried about Ed’s voice in the first song, but it was fine after getting warmed up. Nice to hear untitled again. I first heard it in the 2000 Portland show. Ed was dead set on getting someone a tambourine in fitfw. He kept pointing to the person he wanted to throw it to, and apparently they weren’t able to figure it out, so he surfed out to the person and gave it to them.

My time in Amsterdam has been beautiful. I recommend anyone take a visit who is thinking about it. I’ll be sad to leave Saturday.
Two epic shows indeed, sound was amazing, crowd was great, energy was intense especially 2nd night with Ed "spitting" lyrics out .  Hoped to see Untitled/MFC for a long time too and finally got it. Great night, great band great city.

Amazing show! My first one on this tour, took a couple of pictures, will post them as soon as I edit them. The setlist... I mean, I am speechless... :open_mouth:

  • Great show with highlights Present Tense, Light Years, Inside Job and Man of the Hour and for me personally Release. Really grateful for that. Odd fact: My 6th show and third time I saw Bee Girl, but first time Release.
I think they sounded really great including Ed's voice after - from what I found - some issues with the sound in the first few songs of night 1.
I do agree with those saying that the 2 1/2 hours shows with 25+ songs do not rest anything to the experience. I felt the level of intensity being kept up really high. The venue is great and contributed to the experience. I was lucky to have great 10c seats after GA on night 1. I took my 19 year old son to his first show and he keeps telling me how "Man of the hour" doesn't go out of his mind.
Maybe it is just a personal feeling but I think Ten hits like Even Flow, Black or Alive were played with much more intensity than in shows 5 or 10 years ago. Looking really forward to my next show in Barcelona.

Can anybody hook me up with a poster of Amsterdam 2? I missed out at the show (because of the long lines) and at the PJ site today. Cheers.

I keep checking the PJ site and Miles site to see if any more are released - I missed both of those opportunities and at the show itself! Hopefully, there will be more floating around in the next few weeks!

Night 2 definitely had more emotion and energy than Night 1 (although Red Mosquito and Footsteps was a real treat!).

As a poster collector and missing out on the poster (and watching the last ones getting taken off the wall) I had to remind myself "Fuck it!  Im not here for the poster".  My GF and I went and grabbed a beer, watched the people and the excitement build as the clock ticked closer to showtime!    We went to check out our seats, lower bowl, Mike's side about 12 rows up, thanks 10 Club!!   Back for another beer before the show starts.

Feeling the impatience of the crowd and the applause as they took the stage, you just knew it was going to be a great show.  The opening notes of 'Release' and it starts! We stand up and sing along...  then into 'Present Tense' (in my top 5 fave songs) when I get a tap on the shoulder... turn around and a guy motions for me to sit down...  dafuq?  Sit down? at a PJ show? During a fave song? After travelling from Canada to be here? So I motioned for him to stand up and turn back to the show... another tap on the shoulder and hes motioning that I should be in GA!  What?  10 club tickets, I didnt have a choice, it is what I won!  I shake my head and get back into the song....  now he leans over and starts yelling in my ear in a language I didnt understand... not that it mattered what language was being spoken... I wasnt sitting down!  I check with a couple from Manchester standing next to me "is it a European thing to sit down at a show?"  'fawk no!'   Rock on!  haha

Finally got to hear MFC!  Been waiting 13 shows to hear this one,  Can't Deny Me...  wasnt sure about this one but after hearing it live its a great song!  After Inside Job my GF leans over "this is way different than last night!!". Admittedly shes not a big PJ fan, but even she could feel the difference. This was later confirmed when after Man Of The Hour, Ed sits down and starts into Just Breathe. I feel something different and look my GF to see her in tears....  shes def into the show!!!  I put my arm around her and my head against hers and just let the emotions take over.   She didnt sit down for the rest of the show and you could see she was taken away by the PJ experience.  During RITFW she showed me the hair standing up on her arms!  What a great way to bring the show to an (almost) close....  and of course YLB to bring us home.

I cant say enough how the whole show was a great experience.  From the lovely couple from Manchester beside us, to Tom from Belgium who asked if I wanted to trade my fan-made stickman ball cap for his ballcap (which I did after chatting about the show for a bit) while standing inline for another beer!

This is definitely one bootleg I will be reliving for a long time!

    Listening to the bootleg now.

Was a good show. Probably my second favourite of the four I went to on this tour.

Also listened to this one and this was one of the best openings I heard.
Release followed up by Present Tense.

    Damn good Rear view mirror.
The band was on fire these 2 shows in Amsterdam.
