    i was just surfing around some posts, and someone's sig said "im open. come in." i havent actually heard the song in a long time. i know, it can mean many different things. but i would like to know what was really meant by it. im open come in. what is that supposed to mean? i have a theory. especially with the song "sometimes"

    To me it projects the desperate need to find happiness and the reason for being. Wanting a fulfilled life. The simplicity of being a child as opposed to the harsh reality of adulthood. Feeling like an empty shell and starving for vibrancy. Lying in wait for direction. Open to any and all possibilities but lacking the knowledge to achieve.


    My god I love this album.

    I've always thought about it quite simply....I never wanted to think too much about it, cause that takes away some of the magic of it...and thats kinda what its about to me also...magic, the magic of life, and never ceasing to notice it...like the little kid watching the moon.

    It's about being open to possibilities. Having put aside the innocence of childhood, but finding adult life on the surface to be unfulfilling one has to pause to rethink existence. Now that I think about it, this song has a similar theme to that of Sleight of Hand.
