Yes, this is totally depressing and sad. It's also frustrating as hell.

That makes some sense but on the other hand, if your tribe is comprised of people with little or no ability to discern whether a candidate is a fool or not, or does not care if their candidate is a pervert, or if the people in that tribe have no sense of concern for the well being of the planet that feeds and sustains them, then their tribe is (excuse me for being so blatant) totally fucked up.  Sorry, no empathy here.
