After a nice year at work I pulled the trigger on an unopened Benny, via EBay!   Headed here next Saturday can’t wait to spin it

    Congrats!  It's one expensive shrink-wrap to take off but there is nothing like spinning a Benny!

    I was really hoping they were going to repress it but after waiting a few years and no signs of reissue I had to do it

    My Mom had a great point last year. This was actually about some expensive candles she and my wife have but it applies to vinyl too.  You really don’t know when life is going to end so burn the damn candle and enjoy it. If you’re just displaying it you’re missing out. 

    I just bought a very expensive bike with custom parts.   Limited production numbers. Im going to ride the hell out of it.  Enjoy your Benaroya.  We’ve all overpaid for stuff that we want but that’s why we got it.  Enjoy that thing!

    Speaking as someone who came very close to dying, that is my policy. It started with an extremely beautiful and expensive box of stationery that my sister-in-law purchased for me for my 30th birthday. I was waiting for a special occasion...then I decided that being thankful was special occasion enough.  

    Others do as they wish and I get it.  I just roll with things a bit different now and that's okay.

    I will consider breaking the seal of my sealed copy in 2022, when it will be 18 years old. I don't want to fill its holes before that.
