Of Angels and Pearl Jam site : request

I once read this great story on a site called 'Of Angels and Pearl Jam', somewhere in 1997 I suppose. It was the true story of a woman who had written about her struggle with alcoholism and how Pearl Jam seemed to pop up in her life at every big moment. I'd love to read it again, but the site has disappeared and I can't find a back-up anywhere. Does anyone know of one or have a copy of the text?

Many thanks in advance,

HL.

what I still remember about "Of Angels and Pearl Jam" is it was a great story. I think I printed the story out at some point... but not so sure whether I still have it somewhere... if you ever happen to find the site or story itself, let me know too

  • I'm bumping this thread up for the last time in the hope that someone can help me. If not, can someone point me to another place that would be visited by a lot of PJ-fans where I could leave request such as this?

Hi! Am from Mauritius and i'm still looking for that story. That was such an amazing story and it helped me understand their music. And I got sucked in it! Oh god! I cried that night. Back in 2000. I want to read it again! I wish any of us could find it.

cant say after reading it my feelings in words.....
"...Dimitri...He talks to me...'.."The Ghost of Greece..".
    "..That's One Happy Fuckin Ghost.."
“..That came up on the Pillow Case...This is for the Greek, With Our Apologies.....”
  • Wow! What a great story! And I relate to a lot of it. I've always found traces of God in PJ songs, lines that jump out to my soul. A lot from No code and yield, but each album seems to have some. Thanks for sharing! :D
  • Yes....an amazing story....

Have you ideas on how this life ends?
Checked your hands and studied the lines
Have you the belief that the road ahead, ascends off into the light?
