Got weezer/pixies show at Jones beach. Two bands that I loved their first few albums and hate their later stuff. So this night should be interesting.

That was the biggest fucking ripoff of a class action settlement I've ever seen.  Give everyone like 20 free vouchers and 50 coupons ranging from $0.50-$2.50 and a list of shitty artists to see nowhere near you for ONE summer.

It happened twice and more shows are supposed to be posted at some point. Not sure what to tell some people but I was able to see Weezer, Spoon, prophets of rage, modest mouse and Gwen Stephanie with my vouchers. Was very pleased and hope for more soon.

Used all 17 of my voucher codes between the last two summers to claim ticket pairs and made close to $700 selling the tickets on StubHub.

I never got a single voucher. I contacted the legal team multiple times but never heard back anything more than we'll get back to you. Whatever. I had no desire to see any of the shit shows they were offering in my area anyway.

I tried getting some tickets and reselling them. All I ended up with was unused tickets.

I got to see the Cure and Public Enemy for free.

Ended up only going to the Cure show.  I think they PE show in ATL might have cancelled anyway due to the tensions between the African American Community and the Police during that time.

Seems like a lot of people used their codes to get tickets and resell them.  Lawn seats for many shows last summer were going for as low as $5 due to the huge supply of tickets.
  • LukinFanLukinFan Posts: 29,050
The shitty thing about the codes is that if you do not have an amphitheater in your area with a lawn, then the codes were worthless. There are two amphitheaters in my area and neither one has a lawn.

Agreed.  Have a ton of codes, and nothing anywhere near me to use them on when there are shows eligible for them.

Thank you! Do they have a list yet? I think they have had one in the past. Going to a show as a family can get a bit expensive. We were waiting for that sale for the AIC/Korn show.
