the new season arrives

the weather app can’t feel the difference

it’s not alive and

it makes no comment on the state of the air

but here, I’m feeling such relief

to be a bee busy making honey again

to be a good green citizen with a compost pile

I'm even renewing an inner light

listening to my own song-of-the-day
