So this begs us all to explore the question, "What's is your favourite three-song-run-on-an-album from PJ?"

Let's stick to studio albums, shall we?

I think this is the better one than Ten, just because “Once” is the worst of the 6 songs in play

I really should avoid playing with "if only's" but if only "Who You Are" was moved to song #4 on No Code, then the opening sequence of "Sometimes," "Hail Hail," and "In My Tree" would be my winner.

This is a close second for me...
    Last Exit
    Spin The Black Circle
    Not For You

Or that Binaural run ehbacon mentioned.

I think the start of Vitalogy runs as close second to the start of Vs for me.

Hmmmmm...I suppose you're right. I guess one could try Even Flow, Alive, and Why Go but I tend to put that last one on the same level as Once - a great tune but still a tier lower than the hits.

I feel the same about the opening of Yield. Swap GTF and No Way and that's my favorite by far. Faithful is such an awesome song.

The openings of Vitalogy and Vs. are both great too.

Considering I used to play the first half of Vs. before intramural floor hockey in high school, as pump-up music, I'm also gonna have to vote for Go/Animal?Daughter.

    Can't argue with that logic.

Off topic, but it's kind of funny how song #3 on those respective albums rarely gets played by the band, isn't it?

Haha! So true. It's like they knew they wore out the #3 song from Ten and Vs (but eased up on Vitalogy) so they started dialing back after that. I like Who You Are, No Way and Evacuation, but they're well below the first 3 album #3' s.
