It rained a lot today
in fact, there was flooding
fields under water
roads with deep puddles
long, hard rain
but in between, there was sunshine
and the rain washed the place
no more dust, it’s time for Spring
true April showers I guess
I’m so ready for the cleanness of it
the new hope
