Travel Tips: Sydney and Singapore

Heading out on a pretty lengthy work trip to Sydney and Singapore for the first time. Anyone have any advice, tips, suggestions. I know
More about Syndey but mostly the touristy stuff

Have a weekend free in each place plus I'm not adverse to venturing out on a school night being I don't have the normal responsibilities from home. Can't spend night after night just sitting in a hotel room, plus who knows if I'll ever have the chance to see these places again.
